Blue Ivy steals the spotlight from Beyoncé at the Wearable Art Gala

Beyoncé and daughter Blue Ivy were the stars of the show at the second edition of the Wearable Art Gala, organized by Tina Knowles and held on Saturday March 17, 2018 in Los Angeles.

Beyoncé turned heads at the Wearable Art Gala in Los Angeles this weekend, arriving at the charitable event organized by her mother, Tina Knowles, wearing a custom-made dress designed by Falguni and Shane Peacock. In a nod towards the evening's Black Panther theme, the head-to-toe golden outfit was inspired by Nubian warrior queen Amanishakheto, and embellished all over with metallic slits. The best part, however, was no doubt daughter Blue Ivy's matching outfit: a puffed-out gold dress accessorized with a coordinating headpiece. And it seems that the six year-old  enjoyed playing art dealer, bidding $19,000 on a work despite her father Jay-Z's attempts at dissuasion, a move that caused a stir online, generating a series of memes and plenty of comment.
